The reconstruction of the Ginowan Seaside Park Outdoor Theater is now complete.
AEC helped rebuild the facility and will continue its involvement in a new capacity as the theater’s naming rights partner.
The theater’s new name is “AEC Open-Air Theater Ginowan.”
On August 7, Ginowan City and AEC held a ceremony to sign the naming rights agreement.
With construction complete, the theater is now ready to welcome audiences from throughout the community. A new chapter in its history has begun.
Why This Place Is Special to AEC
AEC has a unique connection to this naming rights partnership: we helped rebuild the outdoor theater itself.
From the planning stages through construction, our employees watched the facility gradually take shape. For those who worked on the project, the theater is more than just another completed building. The contributions of each employee, working in their respective roles, came together to create the theater we see today.
AEC’s relationship with the facility will continue beyond its completion through our role as its naming rights partner.
For AEC, naming rights are about more than placing our company’s name on a facility. This partnership represents one way we can remain connected to and support the community where we have operated for many years.
Our role does not end when construction is complete. As a company that helped build the theater, we also look forward to seeing how it is used and becomes part of the community in the years ahead.

Completion Day and the First Performance
The theater’s completion ceremony was held on August 13. Project stakeholders gathered for the unveiling of the newly rebuilt facility.
The site where construction had taken place will now welcome many people through concerts, performances, and other events. Its completion marks not only the end of construction but also the beginning of a new chapter for the theater as a place for people to gather.
On August 15 and 16, Japanese music group Ketsumeishi took the stage for the theater’s inaugural concerts. Audiences filled the newly rebuilt venue for its first major performances.
For the AEC employees who worked on the project, it was an opportunity to see the theater serving its intended purpose and bringing people together through live music.

Looking Ahead
“AEC Open Air Theater Ginowan” will host a variety of performances and events in the years ahead.
Time spent enjoying music. Time spent with family and friends. Time spent coming together as a community.
Each of these moments will become part of the theater’s new history.
As both the company that helped build the theater and its naming rights partner, AEC looks forward to seeing it become a well-known and cherished part of the local community.
We hope to see you at “AEC Open-Air Theater Ginowan”!
